IDC eyes Davao, Dumaguete as next sites for green housing

ITALPINAS DEVELOPMENT Corp. (IDC) is looking at the cities of Dumaguete in Visayas and Davao in Mindanao as future sites for its green real estate projects, according to the firm’s top official. IDC chairman and Chief Executive Officer Romolo V. Nati, in an interview, said they are poised to build Miramonti, a mixed-use development in Sto. Tomas, Batangas, and at the same time planning projects in various locations, including the two cities. IDC will receive a citation from the International Property Awards on May 25-26 in Bangkok, Thailand for its mixed-use Primavera City in Cagayan de Oro. “This recognition is a clear signal that we are on the right path in IDC in designing and developing green buildings in emerging cities in the Philippines,” Mr. Nati said. -- Maya M.
